Purple Space

I should have taken images of this as I was working on it. It began as an oval and the top was the bottom. I only used a palette and black and white oil paint. I really had no plan when I started working on it today, but anyway this is where it went.

I'm actually a little bit further than this on this piece, but I haven't taken an update photo of it yet. I don't think I want to contain this one in a fabric frame. I think I like the that the piece is able to breath. Anyway, this is the other image I have currently been working on.

WIP: Purple Space

I have also started this work recently. It was a previous drawing of mine that I just didn't like. So I decided to change it. This is where it is at as of now, however, I plan to add some kind of organic shape. At the beginning of my painting courses, I focused a lot on organic shapes and have recently missed using them. I'm currently unsure what kind of form I want to use. I normally use some kind of rooted form, almost plant like, however, I'm considering have a free floating form for this one.

WIP: Mars

This is one of my recent works. I started it a few weeks ago but haven't had as much time for it lately. The drawing part was more of last minute impulse to add. Not sure how I feel about it yet, but might as well keep going with it. I plan to draw pretty much every where and connect the orbs through almost tunnel forms. I haven't fully decided yet.
