After the Six of Twenty-Four Thousand, I was happy with the piece, however, I hadn't been using much color within the work. Other than the colors of the materials, for the most part I was only using whites. I ended up throwing in a brown/ purple tone to try and pull the piece together, but it was a last minute thought. In this trial piece, I was exploring what color can bring to the piece. At the same time, I also wanted to try and pull the figure off the canvas more. In the last piece, they laid on the canvas. Whereas in this on, it is coming forth off the canvas.
