Second, KnatBoard design idea. Relatively happy with it. Not sure exactly what I'm looking for with it.

WIP: Ape KnatBoard
Started this guy sometime last week. Originally it was suppose to look like an yeti, but that quickly change and it just looks more like an Ape. Anyway, this is my first sketch at the idea.
Got the sketch on the board and working on the image. I've already finished the board, so those photos will be up soon.

KnatBoard (test)
Drew this up today. Its just sharpie marker on wood. Not sure how I feel yet about this design, but it is a working idea for potentially branding my work. So we'll see what happens.

Final: Better Days
Finished this guy up last week. Pretty happy with it surprisingly. I realized I had to finish it one day on my day off and then get it shipped out for the Art Deck Company.

WIP: What?
Rough sketch for my next board. Once again it will be in ink like the Where? board. I may or may not change this image, but not sure yet. We will see what happens. I currently have other projects going on as well, so hopefully I'll get to this sometime soon :)
Final: Where?
Just moved into a new place, so I no longer have the garage to photograph my work. Now I have wooden floors, oddly enough I actually like it...
Anyway, I am happy with this board. It is a little on the simple side, but that does not bother me. I'm thinking that once I get all 5 boards (who, where, what, when, and why) finished, they will work well together as a group.

WIP: Where?
I am pretty stoked with this board. The line work is exactly what I wanted. It just looks clean and crisp. This is what I want to go back and do to Who?

Final: Who?
Here is my final image of Who? Like I said I'm not fully happy with it. I did another board Where? (I'll share that soon), that I am happy with. I am considering going back, spray painting this board one solid color and then reworking this idea on another board with cleaner lines.
It is not that I do not like the image or design, because I do. It is the smudge line work that is driving me insane. It just looks warn, which I what I want to change.
WIP: Who?
Got this guy going awhile ago. I did not like the painted version of this board, so I spray painted that board and began working on this one.
The ink never fully dried so I had to make the smudge ink work with the board... Not sure how I feel about it, but I'll share the final image.
I'm planning on doing a set of boards using Who, Where, What, When, and Why. This was the first one I attempted, however I may be changing it later.

WIP: Who?
Got this board going today as well. I was in love with the sketch however, not so sure about the board yet...
I guess I just wish the face was bigger and the colors were more pronounced. I plan to keep working on it to hopefully get it there.

ArtDeckCo Board
Started this the other night. Normally when I am doing a painting on canvas I like to work with organic shapes on a larger canvas and then limit my color palette.
My skateboards have been a little different, so I thought I'd mix it up a little. Anyway, this is what I got out of it... I used a plastic knife for the black lines and the shape itself.
After working on it, I realized that this just was not what I wanted over all, so I sprayed the board an ivory white and started over. This was earlier today while watching Scream. I tried doing just the back space before getting into the body of the figure.
This is my almost final product. Still working on it though. The bottom 'limb' looks like a penis (in my opinion) which is not what I was going for, so that will need to be changed. Other than that, I want the figure to carry more detail, so I need to go in and work on that as well.

Final: Owl
For whatever reason, I do not have any in-progress photos of this guy. I randomly pulled this one together some time last week on one of my days off.
Final: Untitled
Finished this guy yesterday morning. He currently does not have a name, but I'm happy with him.

Final: The Lion
After changing this board about 5 times I have finally settled with something and I am actually happy with it. Took me awhile to get here, but I am definitely loving the animal portraits.

Final: Apollo
Happy with how this turned out. Not totally stoked about the font for Apollo though. Maybe it's just not as sleek as I would like for it to be. But all in al I am happy with this design.

Pretty stoked about this guy. I actually already finished this one up and will have the final photos posted soon. This was the original sketch and then a progress picture of it in the making.
