WIP: Timothy Re-Do

Did not really plan on getting this far today, but I did. It was suppose to look like a cracked egg, but that didn't happen. I'm not upset with what came of it though. I'll keep the egg idea in storage for now and use it later. I actually like how it has turned out.

Next will be to put Timothy in and figure out where to put his name. I'm not even a hundred percent sold on the idea of using Timothy... maybe I'll use an only drawing or making something new... Not sure yet, I've got plenty of time though.

Oh yeah, I know I was planning on using the blue board for Timothy, originally anyway, but I changed my mind. I like having the woodgrain, I just feel like something about it needs to stay. So I've got another idea for the blue board.

WIP: Jeanette

It has been too long since my last post :/ I've been busy with random events in life. Anyway.... I have started the tentacles! This is going to take forever. I tried working on them at home, but I don't have a desk so I was hunched over trying to work on it and it was literally killing me. So I'm up at the local coffee shop today hoping that I can get pretty far with it today. Fingers crossed! 

WIP: Charles

I keep forgetting to take photos of the sketch on the board before I start painting. But this is what I've got so far. The green image was inspired from deer intestines. I was flipping through my phone for inspiration on what kind of design to put around the board and I had an image of deer intestines.

This might be finished. I didn't expect to get as far as I did today. But I think this might be it. I'll upload final images later. 

Lines and Forms Painting

 This is still a work in progress. The bottom image is of the background I created. Those lines across the canvas are string which I gessoed on to the canvas. Then, in the top right image, I went in and threw in those lines as the environment. At this point I removed the string. And then from there, using the lines/ environment I created, I found my forms within those lines. Still all one big working idea and I wish I had used more string....

The Skinny (3): Work In Progress

Currently working on this. I'm pretty stoked about it actually. No idea what I should do as far as a background go. Debating about inking it and putting paint on it like the others... Could be cool? Its not like I can't draw it again so I might as well just explore with it.

I think for the time being I'll put it down and come back to it in a little bit.

Materials: Its on some kind of printing paper I had left over from a intaglio printmaking class with pencil.
